I have to use remote tor nodes (can't host due to my threat model).

The issue is I cant fint any reliable ones, a lot of monero.fail nodes disconnect or dont connect at all.

What are my options? And if I really have to change my opsec and host then I have to use whonix or tails correct?

    Thanks.

These worked last time I checked ~1 week ago:

    Seth's node: sfprpc2fws6ltnq4hyr7lvpul3nank5layd7q7tyc5h4gy4h77gtabad.onion:18089

    Rucknium's node:
    rucknium757bokwv3ss35ftgc3gzb7hgbvvglbg3hisp7tsj2fkd2nyd.onion:18081

    Trocador's node: trocadorh642rks54sxufwy4kys23mrsgof3axowyro5ljb2dkgdlmad.onion:18089

At least these are nodes run by known reputable community members.

Rucknium/Seth nodes can sometimes work but I found that the Cake ones are more reliable.

Here's a tutorial for Monero on Tails: https://theonionpost.com/blog/cryptocurrency/monero-on-tails-step-by-step-instructions

I have a working version available here: https://xmrbazaar.com/listing/xfWP/

Works good. Great way to run a full node.

    > Super fast external 500 GB SSD with Tails and the latest monerod and GUI wallet. (v0.18.4.1).

you should upgrade that to 0.18.4.3 if possible

Cool. Yes, I'm keeping the node updated with latest (18.4.3). I forgot to update the listing.
